Meizu M9 Android Phone will be available on December 25th

The Meizu M9 is one of the most anticipated android smartphone of the year in China, perhaps even more than its future competitor the iPhone 4G. We know a little more today, after Jack Wong, Meizu’s CEO has confirmed that the M9 will adopt Android 2.1 OS, now we know that it will have an HDMI 1.3 output. With this latest news, you can almost certify that the M9 will be able to play HD video. In fact, the embedded Samsung C110 processor, in addition to 3D handling, is able to decode Full HD video.

There is also an image which just appeared on a Chinese forum, claiming to be the perfect illustration of the future smartphone. According to the image, the camera would shrink in the hull, and flash would be located behind the glass. The hull is covered with a layer of Teflon providing a pleasant touch and a good grip. At the front, there are two additional touch keys. In my opinion if the true one looks like this, you could expect a great success.
